Computer Science 2 students tested their Microbit Rovers they built and programmed. They programmed the Rovers to sense an obstacle and turn. They are also learning to program the robots to react to sound and control with a radio.

Bauxite High School Open House is August 12, 2021 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Come and visit with your teachers and classmates. We are looking forward to a great 2021-2022 school year!!
Miner Days are August 2, 2021 for 11th and 12th graders, and August 3, 2021 for 9th and 10th graders from 10:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. At this time, paperwork can be completed, and your student will be able to pick-up their schedule and Chromebook. Your student will also be able to purchase a locker for $5 and a parking pass for $20. GO MINERS!!

New student registration for Bauxite High School will be June 7th and 8th. You need two proofs of residency (utility bills), birth certificate or proof of birthday, Social Security number (SS card is optional), current immunization records, unofficial transcript.
These 20 high school students received the Microsoft Office Specialist - Associate Certification by passing the three Microsoft Certification exams - Excel 2019, Word 2019 and PowerPoint 2019. These students can gain college credit with this certification! During this 2020-21 school year there have been 128 total certifications earned in the Survey of Business classroom. 64 in Microsoft PowerPoint, 35 in Microsoft Excel and 29 in Microsoft Word!!
