Class of 2022 Parents, in order for us to recognize your student at Senior Celebration with the scholarships they have received or been offered, they must return their scholarship verification form to the counselor's office. The deadline was April 18th, but we are still accepting them through May 6th which is the last day of school for seniors.
Bauxite High School will host a Parent Night for current 8th grade students coming to the high school as new Freshmen next school year. We will meet Tuesday night, April 26th, at 6:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Parents of all incoming 9th graders are encouraged to join us.
Senior Signing Day will be Wednesday, April 27th, at 1:45 on the football field.

The ACT Aspire Summative Assessment will be given to all 9th and 10th grade students Tuesday and Wednesday, April 19th and 20th. Testing will begin 7:45 am and will conclude by 11:30 am or so each day. Lunch will be at 12:05 pm both days for these students. Please have students charge their Chromebooks.

The scholarship deadline for the Bauxite Ladies Association Scholarship has been postponed until next week. The deadline is now April 14, 2022. The Benton Chamber of Commerce Scholarship is also due April 14, 2022. Two more scholarships that are due in April are the "Old Timers" and "Class of 1965" scholarships which must be postmarked by April 15, 2022.

CAP conferences will be held on Thursday, March 17th. The information about your CAP teacher and scheduled meeting time was sent to your home address. Seniors do not have to attend school on this day. If you and your student do not attend this scheduled CAP conference, your student will be counted absent for the day.
Important Dates:

On March 15, 2022 we will be taking the 10th graders to the Saline County Career and Technical Campus for a tour of the facility. This will be a great opportunity for our students to experience this facility in person. If you do not want your student to attend this tour please let the high school office know as soon as possible so that arrangements can be made accordingly.
