First Bell Rings at 7:27 a.m.
ALL SCHOOL EVENTS/MEETINGS ARE SUBJECT TO DATE ~ TIME CHANGE OR CANCELLATION BY SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION
Students you are not allowed to go to the parking lot for any reason
During lunch or at any other time
Students you are not to be parking in the faculty parking lot behind the 9th grade building
Students are NOT to sit in their vehicles after parking. Exit your vehicles and proceed to the High School
Students you need to be at the bus immediately after the bell. The buses will be leaving and if you miss your bus you will have to find yourself a way home.
Cell phones must be placed in the safe zone during class!
CLOSED CAMPUS
All schools in the District shall operate closed campuses. Students are required to stay on campus from their arrival until dismissal at the end of the regular school day unless given permission to leave the campus by a school official. Students must sign out in the main office upon their departure. Students may not check out to leave for lunch.
Students you are NOT allowed to order outside food and have it delivered to the school
BREAKFAST:
Sausage, Egg and Cheese Croissant, Mini Pancakes, Fruit, Juice and Milk
LUNCH:
LINE 1: Miner Mac, California Blend Vegetables, Roll, Salad Bar, Ranch Dressing, Fruit, and Milk
LINE 2: Bacon Cheeseburger, Boneless Chicken Wings, French Fries, Stuffed Crust Cheese Pizza, Stuffed Crust Pepperoni Pizza and Milk
SNACK: Doritos and Juice
Snack will be served after 6th period in the hallway at no cost to students
Students:
TODAY (Thursday) is the last day to enter the Gummy Worm contest. Come by the library and guess how many worms are in the container without going over to win the container of worms.
Class officer elections will be held during CAP. Please check your email to vote through the google form. If you are in CTE or do not have a cap class, please see Mrs. Mode to vote.
Friday night the Bauxite Miners will play the Glen Rose Beavers 7:00pm at the Pit. The theme for the student section is ‘Merica. Wear your best red, white, and blue outfits to school and to the game!
FCCLA meeting on Thursday, August 30, during 2nd CAP in Mrs. Bewley’s room 202 in the middle school.
The library will be closed today (Thursday) during both lunches and both CAPs.
Auditions for the fall play "Puffs" next week on Wednesday the 4th and Thursday the 5th after school from 4-6 pm and Friday the 6th during both CAP classes in the auditorium. You will not need to prepare anything for the audition. Summaries of the play can be found on the auditorium doors. If you have any questions about auditions or being on crew you can talk to Mrs. Mattox in the auditorium.
