Dr. Ashley Davis and her husband John have 4 children. Allie is in 10th grade, Sam is in 6th, Remie is three years old, and they have recently welcomed their newest family member, Rhett.
Dr. Davis is the Executive Director of the Arkansas Center for Nursing as well as the County Coordinator of The Call for Grant County.
Dr. Davis, a 2000 Benton High School graduate, loves reading anything by Lysa TerKeurst, as well as The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom. Her hero is her grandfather, Sherl Hendricks. She loves the quote from Hope Floats, “Beginnings are usually scary, endings are usually sad, but it's what's in the middle that counts. So when you find yourself at the beginning, just give hope a chance to float up. And it will.”
As the mother of a newborn, Dr. Davis enjoys taking naps. Her other hobbies include watching her children play sports and being outside.
Brandon Futch
Mr. Futch is married to Aubrey Futch, and they have two children. Rylin, 14, is in the 9th grade, and Tynlee, 9, is in the 4th grade.
Mr. Futch, a 1994 Sheridan High School graduate, is a firefighter with the Bryant Fire Department. His favorite book is Fearless by Adam Brown. His hero is Jesus Christ, and his favorite scripture is Genesis 27:3. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, backpacking, and hiking.
Ryan Jacks

Ryan Jacks and his wife Kristy Jacks have two children: Brody, 21, a senior at Ouachita Baptist University; and Kady Beth, 16, a junior at Bauxite High School.
Mr. Jacks, a 1994 Bauxite High School graduate, is a State Trooper with the Arkansas State Police.
His hobbies include hunting, fishing, camping, and watching Bauxite Miners Sports.
His favorite books are the Bible, A Walk in the Woods, and The Greatest Wild Gobbler.
Mr. Jacks’ hero is his father, and his favorite scripture is Isaiah 6:8.
His heroes are his father and both of his grandfathers.
His favorite quote: “Push yourself because no one else is going to do it for you.”
Jeremy McDade
Jeremy McDade
Jeremy McDade is married to Brandi McDade. Their children are Olivia, 21, and Judd, 16. Olivia is a 2001 Bauxite graduate and is currently a junior at Delta State State University majoring in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. Judd is a sophomore at Bauxite High School.
Mr. McDade, a 1993 Bauxite High School graduate, currently works as a financial advisor.
Mr. McDade enjoys reading John Grisham novels, as well as biographies of successful individuals and athletes.
His hero is his father, Troy McDade. The senior Mr. McDade fought battles with debilitating diseases since he was twenty years old, including Type 1 Diabetes and Muscular Dystrophy. He was also a two-time lymphoma survivor. He never complained or asked, “Why me?” He also considers his grandfathers his heroes, and says, “My grandfathers were both examples of hard-working men, who were veterans, and led Christian households.”
Mr. McDade’s favorite scripture is the 23 Psalms. He also enjoys reading John Wooden’s “Pyramid to Success.”
Mr. McDade’s hobbies include hunting, golf, watching Bauxite Miners and Crushers, Arkansas Razorbacks sports, and camping.
Katrina Southwell
Katrina Southwell and her husband Winston Southwell have two children: Kaiden, 10, and Lilly, 7. Both children attend Pine Haven Elementary. Winston Southwell is the owner of Hit-Stix, a hitting facility in Saline County. Mrs. Southwell works at Hit Stix with her husband. She is a 2005 graduate of Shadow Ridge High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her favorite book is The Bible. Her mother, Ms. Katie Johns, is her hero. She says about her mother, “She is a strong lady, who works hard, and has taught me a lot.”
Mrs. Southwell’s hobbies include watching her children play sports, spending time with her family, watching movies, and going to the lake.
Charlotte Tarver

Mrs. Tarver and her husband Tommy have two children. Their son, Dr. Tyler Tarver, and his wife Amanda have three children: Titus, a 7th grader, Ezra, a 6th grader, and Finn, a 1st grader. All three attend Bauxite Schools. Tyler recently received his doctorate in Educational Leadership from Harding University. Tyler's wife Amanda has her own construction company.
The Tarvers also have a daughter, Chelsea Gilbreath. She and her husband Tyler have two sons, Laker (4), and Locke (2). Chelsea is the owner of Dancers Edge dance studio in Benton. The Tarvers also have a nephew, Bodie Tarver. He and his wife Lindsey have a daughter Fallon, 6. They live in Hot Springs where Donovan is a sales representative.
Mrs. Tarver, a 1979 Bauxite graduate, is a retired schoolteacher of 39 years, 33.5 of those years were at Bauxite. She is currently assisting Chelsea at Dancer's Edge.
Her favorite book is The Bible, but she also enjoys Where The Red Fern Grows.
Mrs. Tarver’s heroes were teachers and coaches she had in high school. Several people inspired her career choice in education. She also has strong Christian friends who are inspirational to her.
Mrs. Tarver’s favorite quote is by Maya Angelou, "People will forget what you said. People will forget what you did. But people will never forget how you made them feel."
Mrs. Tarver loves spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Michael Vocque is married to Erin Vocque. Their children are Chase and Cord.
Mr. Vocque, a 1995 Bauxite High School graduate, works at Bernhard TME.
His hobbies include hunting, fishing, coaching Mini Miner Football, and watching the Bauxite Miners.
Mr. Vocque is a Bauxite Hall of Fame Member.
